Farm Fresh Retro Challenge Card & Tuesday Morning Sketch Entry

Hi Everyone, I am sharing today a card I made for my Amazing Husband John, that Ill be putting in a care package for him being sent to Afghanistan.....

We are very silly and have alot of inside Jokes I always tell him he is the frosting on my cake.. and so I decided to use one of Grandma Bonnie's Place Tuesday Morning Sketches to complete My card. for these challenges...

As everyone Knows I just love love love the greeting farm stamps. they are awesome, and in my price range and I just love this challenge.. for this challenge you had to use a stamp six months or older and  the theme was cupcakes and sprinkles.

So I used the greeting farm Happy Baker stamp set that is Retired. and on my cupcakes I used star dust stickles to give it a sparkley sprinkle effect and a red bling for a cherry on top. The paper I used was from the sweet stack that has cupcakes with sprinkles that are kind of raised or embossed for the design, the baby blue, bear brown and grey card stock from  Michaels recollections collection. I used Georgia Pacific white card stock to stamp my image and sentiment out with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I copic colored the image and the word cupcake on the sentiment.
I used 3 blue buttons on my card from my stash and just hot glued them on. For a list of copic colors used on the card please email me and Ill be more than happy to share that info...

Now with this card I did layering and used doubled sided tape to adhere them instead of dimensional foam tape. Since this card is going to the hubby... I wanted it to be a flat card.
Hope you like.. thanks for stopping by..
Super big Hugs
